Mau and Ricky recalled this "life-changing" moment with Karol G

Venezuelans were grateful for what happened to them three years ago. Mau and Ricky became one of the referent duos in the current urban music scene. Songs like 'Desconocidos', 'Papás' and 'Mi Mala' became hits in every corner of the planet. In fact, they keep a beautiful memory of this last song, which they decided to tell their fans about.

'Mi Mala' is the first musical collaboration between Mau and Ricky and Karol G, which saw the light in October 2017. In a short time it was positioned at the top of the music lists and remained there for weeks. In Youtube the video clip reached more than 92 million views.

In one of their last Instagram posts, the brothers demonstrated that this is not just any collaboration. Ricardo Montaner's sons shared a video never seen before with the Colombian girl, in which they played this hit in acoustic.

"Exactly 3 years ago we were recording the video of 'Mi Mala' remix. This song changed our lives and we are lucky to be able to see everything that has happened in our career in these 3 years. @Karolg thank God for putting you in our path, for your career and how much we learn from you... For allowing us to make music with people we love and admire! And to think that it all happened because we coincided on a flight from Miami to the Dominican Republic," expressed the singers.

It's worth mentioning that it was precisely their success that led them to release the remix they released months later. For that musical work, they counted on the voices of: Becky G, Leslie Grace and Lali.

One of the brothers was positive for Covid

Hours before the singers of 'La Grosera' posted the video with Karol, Mau took the bill to announce that he had tested positive for Covid-19 and that is why he had distanced herself from social media.

The 27-year-old artist shared a selfie in which he posed with an annoying expression on his face and wrote: "I know I've been lost, excuse me. A couple of days ago I tested positive for COVID and although I feel great I've been locked up in my house resting and taking care of myself in quarantine. I have had very few symptoms, thank God, but I wanted to tell you so you would know that I am well. I think of you all and thank God every day for you".
