It is worth noting that Shakira and Black Eyed Peas presented "Girl Like Me" in December 2020 and is part of the album "TRANSLATION", in which the rappers turned to Latin sounds and included Hispanic artists like Becky G, J Balvin, Maluma, Ozuna and Nicky Jam, among others.
On the other hand, the song "Girl Like Me" went viral due to a 'challenge' that went around the world, as millions of people were encouraged to do so and share it on social media, including some celebrities.
