Apparently, someone doesn't like to follow directions. Keep reading and find out what happened to Bruce Willis!
Bruce Willis has become the target of criticism for not respecting security measures against the coronavirus. The actor has been expelled from a store after refusing to put on the mask and, after revealing this information, has publicly apologized.
According to Page Six, the interpreter entered a Los Angeles pharmacy without a mask, something that bothered other customers. As the publication relates, he refused to cover his nose and mouth "despite wearing a scarf around his neck that could easily be pulled up."
An employee asked the Die Hard star to leave the establishment, where Willis was photographed. The interpreter finally left the place without doing his shopping. After this information came to light and the artist became a trend on Twitter, Willis decided to publicly apologize. "It was an error in judgment," he told People. "Everyone stays safe and let's keep wearing a mask," he added.
Bruce Willis is not the first celebrity to generate controversy for rejecting the mask. Fans of The Mandalorian demanded the firing of Gina Carano after the Star Wars star ridiculed wearing a mask. "Democratic leaders now recommend that we wear blindfolds along with the mask so that we cannot see what is happening," can be read in one of their tweets.
However, other artists have encouraged wearing a mask. This has been the case with Tom Hanks. "There are only three things we can do: wear a mask, social distance, and wash our hands. Those things are very simple, very easy if someone can't do those three very basic things, I can only say that you should be ashamed," he said.
