COCONUT MOISTURIZING CREAM WITH OATS
Coconut promotes hydration of the skin and, therefore, it is a great ingredient to be used in creams to treat dry skin. In addition to this, when it is associated with oats, it is possible to nourish and protect the skin because oats have properties that help the renewal of skin cells, contributing to smooth, soft and nourished skin.
1 cup of grated coconut
- 1 tablespoon of oatmeal
- 1 cup of hot milk
Beat all the ingredients in the blender until it becomes a uniform cream and place on all the areas where the skin is quite dry. Leave on for 15 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water.
ALOE VERA MOISTURIZING CREAM WITH COCONUT OIL
Aloe vera or also known as aloe is an excellent natural moisturizer, in addition to having disinfectant properties in case there is a small wound on the skin. See other properties of aloe vera. - 1/2 cup of aloe vera or aloe de vera
- 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
Wash the aloe leaves very well, open, and remove the pulp until you get 1/2 cup. Then the coconut oil should be mixed to form a uniform paste, you can use the blender to mix the ingredients better. Put the cream in a container and keep the container out of sunlight.
Another excellent option for dry skin is Macadamia or Rosehip oil, which has properties that deeply nourish the skin and help reduce stretch marks, scars, and wrinkles on the skin.
Tips to keep your skin well hydrated
To properly hydrate dry skin, which is characterized by dull skin with a tendency to flake, the following is recommended:
- Use good quality hydrating liquid soap.
- Avoid very long baths in very hot water.
