Alicia Keys talks about her son's personality and what she hopes for the 5-year-old's future.
The impact of what happened with the murder against George Floyd, keeps the United States in constant protest against the violence of the police against African American people.
George Floyd's death has touched the American people so much that he has not stopped protesting despite the global health crisis.
Recently, singer Alicia Keys has written a poem in which she openly talks about her feelings about her little one's future as well as her personality.
Inspired by racism that for centuries has discriminated and violated human rights due to having a different "color" of skin, the singer writes:
"My beautiful baby
So curious and pure
But so clear about what you don't want
No! you say vigorously
When you don't like what happens with your small but powerful world of 5 years
I hope you never change
I hope that internal strength and fire
Never go extinct
And never feel the need to fit in
Or to be silenced ”.
The poem goes on to talk about what she expects for her son's future with a mix of feelings that invite him to never let his identity be suffocated as Floyd's life was suffocated.
