This is a very tasty recipe that is prepared in several Latin American countries and therefore they have different ways of preparing it. The Yuca Bread is known as Chipa in Paraguay / Argentina, Cuñape in Bolivia and Pao de Queijo in Brazil. Amazing, right?

How to prepare Yuca Bread
2 ½ cups cassava starch
4 cups of grated cheese (mozzarella cheese or fresh cheese)
1 tablespoon of baking powder
a pinch of salt
4 ounces of butter
2 or 4 tablespoons of water or milk if the dough is dry
How to make Yuca Bread, step by step
1.- Mix the cassava starch, the cheese, the baking powder and the salt in a big bowl.
2.- Add the butter and eggs, mix very well to form a homogeneous mixture, and then make small dough balls.
3.- Preheat your oven to 500ºC

Put the dough balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before baking. For a better results, you can make the dough balls and refrigerate them for up to 24 hours before baking , or you can freeze and bake them directly frozen.
5.- Bake yuca breads for 7 minutes, until golden.
6.- Once yuca breads are ready, you can serve them with tree tomato hot sauce.
