The Yuca Bread is prepared with cassava starch, cheese, butter and eggs, it can be served as a starter or as a snack. If you want to impress your friends and family, what are you waiting for? Put on your apron and make this fluffy and soft yuca bread in only 5 minutes!
2 ½ cups cassava starch
4 cups of grated cheese (mozzarella cheese or fresh cheese)
1 tablespoon of baking powder
a pinch of salt
4 ounces of butter
2 eggs
2 or 4 tablespoons of water or milk if the dough is dry
1.- Mix the cassava starch, the cheese, the baking powder and the salt in a big bowl.
2.- Add the butter and eggs, mix very well to form a homogeneous mixture, and then make small dough balls.
3.- Preheat your oven to 500ºC
4.- Para un mejor resultado puedes preparar las bolitas 1 día antes y refrigerar o los puedes congelar y hornear directamente congelados.
Put the dough balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before baking. For a better results, you can make the dough balls and refrigerate them for up to 24 hours before baking , or you can freeze and bake them directly frozen.
5.- Bake yuca breads for 7 minutes, until golden.
6.- Once yuca breads are ready, you can serve them with tree tomato hot sauce.
