Our gestures and even body posture are sometimes an input for decision-making
Teleworking has taken over our routine and this has the benefit that we don't have to spend time on a daily basis preparing ourselves to look flawless for the office, but this freedom from makeup becomes stress when they suddenly call for a video conference call.
We must quickly overcome the messiness of days. In addition, keeping the camera off is not an option for the company, our gestures and even body posture are sometimes an input for decision-making.
The first step is to be aware that we are going to put on makeup for people who will see us through an application. Therefore, do not make up in front of the mirror, it is recommended to enter the application to use (Zoom, Google Meet, BlueJeans, etc.) and make up in front of the webcam.
Cameras tend to flatten your face, so it is advisable to use bronzing powder. Start by applying it with a brush to the cheeks (where the blush normally goes), forehead, temples, around the edges of the forehead and eyelids.
See the result in the camera, if there is no difference, apply more bronzing powder. Then repeat the operation with blush. One tip to look great on camera is to determine your face shape. If your face is elongated, the camera must be in front of the face. If it is round or oval you will see better if you raise the camera a little. Apply the recommendation before connecting and you will notice the difference.
