How to cook it?
Put the butter in a bowl and beat. Gradually add the 8 eggs and sugar while continuing to mix the ingredients. Add the can of condensed milk and continue stirring.
In another bowl, pour the flour and baking powder and stir. Then sift the flour and baking powder with the help of a strainer, gently adding to the preparation of the yolks. In another container beat the egg whites until they foam. As you already have the whites, add them to the mixture and add with enveloping movements.
For the syrup, combine the water, soluble coffee and vanilla in a bowl and heat. Remove the pot and add the liquor out of the heat and reserve. Spread butter or oil on a tray and place a little flour and pour the mixture into the mold.
Preheat the oven for 5 minutes and at a temperature of 200ºC. Bake the cake for 40 minutes at 180ºC.
After time, remove from the oven and decorate it. If you choose to eat it alone, add the syrup hot. If you are going to fill it, let the cake cool, cut it in half, put the syrup in each layer and fill with cream and you already have your cake smeared with brown syrup and rum.
