"Glass Walls": The Paul McCartney video that seeks to stop eating meat

The living legend of the Beatles joined the PETA organization to create global awareness around eating meat and how food gets to your table.

Paul McCartney will be 78 years old and his wish is for the world to stop eating meat. The video "Glass Walls" is also for a birthday, and is based on heartbreaking images that show the way animals end up being eaten on the table.

Explaining the video a little, McCartney noted:

"This is why this year I urge fans to watch a video I presented for PETA titled 'Glass Walls.' We called it that because if slaughterhouses had glass walls, who would want to eat meat?"

The video shows the way in which the animals that we usually eat are slaughtered with cruel treatment and brutality. In addition, it allows us to understand that, with the global health crisis, all packaged foods without minimum health measures represent an imminent contagion risk.

In addition to the cruel way in which animals die to become food, the meat industry also destroys the environment because it generates a large amount of greenhouse gases.

The video introduction features a McCartney stating:

"Whether you are concerned about diseases arising from slaughterhouses, animals suffering terribly and needlessly, or the catastrophic impact of the meat industry on our environment, watch this short video and share it with your friends".
