Healthy snacks: No-bake almond peanut butter bar

This recipe will blow your mind. It is easy to prepare and with few healthy ingredients. These almond bars don’t need to be baked and you can have them whenever you feel the need of having a sweet snack. We encourage you to eat them after exercising as well, it will give you more energy.

Healthy Almond Bars

Almond Peanut Butter Bars
Ingredients
⦁    1 cup of almonds
⦁    1 cup of oatmeal
⦁    1/3 almond butter
⦁    1/3 apple puree
⦁    1/3 honey or maple syrup
⦁    ¼ cup dark chocolate chips


Steps
Prepare the apple puree previously by boiling the apple in water until it is soft and then, blend it. Toast the almond and the oatmeal. Put the puree, the honey (or maple syrup), the almond butter in a bowl and mix. Then add the almonds and oatmeal, along with the chips and stir. Put the mix on a glass pan with a parchment paper, distributing it evenly on the pan. Put it on the fridge for a couple of hours. Take it out and cut it in bars. Eat them when you want.
