Caesar salad in a gastronomic classic. If until now you had not cooked it because you did not know it, this recipe with a small change will allow you to incorporate a delicious dish into your home menu.
What do you need?
For the salad:
- 1/2 chicken breast (you can use chicken nuggets)
- 1 lettuce
- 40 g parmesan cheese
- Croutons of toasted bread
- Black pepper
For the dressing:
- 1 egg yolk
- 50 g anchovies
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (or normal mustard)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 clove garlic
- Extra virgin oil
How to make it:
Step 1: Season the breast with salt and pepper and grill until golden brown (medium heat). When ready, let sit 5 minutes before chopping.
Step 2: While making the chicken breast, liquefy all the ingredients of the dressing except the oil that, when the mixture is homogeneous, you will add it in the form of a thread while you continue blending, package and reserve.
Step 3: Soak the lettuce in water and vinegar for a couple of minutes, then wash and dry with paper towels and a clean towel. Place the lettuce in a bowl, on it the pieces of breast the chicken nuggets, the croutons (you can also prepare them using sandwich bread and toasting in the oven) and pieces of Parmesan cheese.
The dressing should be served only at the moment to prevent the moisture from softening the lettuce.
