This recipe for ripe banana dumplings with cheese is very easy to prepare and the best thing of all is that you can use those ripe bananas that you had reserved in the fridge and that you were planning to discard.
What do you need?
- 4 ripe bananas.
- 1/4 cup all-purpose wheat flour
- 1 egg.
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
How to make it:
Start by washing the bananas very well, once they are clean, remove the tips and cut in half. Cook the plantains with their skins in a pot with enough water and salt for 7 minutes.
When they are soft, remove from the water, remove the skin and crush with a cutlery until obtaining the texture of a puree. Add the egg, flour, vanilla and mix. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for half an hour.
After the time, take the dough out of the fridge and divide into 10 servings. Make a ball and crush with the palm of your hand, keeping the circular shape, place the grated cheese in the center of the dough, join the ends and then fry the ripe banana dumplings in plenty of hot oil.
