Mel Gibson joins the positive list for Covid-19

The 64-year-old actor was hospitalized for a week at a Los Angeles hospital after testing positive for Covid-19.

The Covid-19 pandemic does not distinguish between people and ages, it appears, becomes ill and continues on its way in search of more guests in which it can stay to continue on its path of contagion.

Recently, a representative of the American actor Mel Gibson, released the news in which he indicated that Gibson contracted the virus in April, and the health situation of the sixty-year-old was so delicate that he had to be hospitalized in a health center in the city of Los Angeles.

"He tested positive in April and spent a week in the hospital. He was treated with the drug Remdesivir while in the hospital, and has tested negative numerous times since then, as well as positive for the antibodies," the representative explained.

Gibson joins the list of celebrities who have tested positive for the virus, including Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, Idris Elba, Daniel Dae Kim of 'Lost' and film producer Harvey Weinstein, Boris Johnson in the United Kingdom, Senator Rand Paul and Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro.
