A great way to accompany your Spanish rice is to add pieces of fish to complement and add flavor to your dish, resulting in a very complete and balanced meal.
Due to its high content of phosphorus and magnesium, almonds help us to have strong teeth and bones. They also take care of our muscles, fight anxiety, irritability and promote a good rest, avoiding insomnia. Furthermore, due to their calcium content, almonds prevent osteoporosis.
Today we share with you this recipe of almond rice, which you can accompany with the fish of your preference.
- 1 envelope of Knorr Spanish Style Rice
- 2 fish fillets, of your choice
- 1/2 cups of almonds, sliced and toasted
- 1 cup of skimmed milk
- 1 teaspoon chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 cup of water
Blend perfectly the milk, water, almond and chicken broth, pour the mixture into a pot. Empty the contents of the Knorr® Spanish Style Rice envelope together with a spoonful of oil and bring to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
Cut the fish in medium cubes and roast them in a frying pan with the remaining spoonful of oil. Once the rice is cooked, add and integrate the fish. Let it rest for 5 minutes and serve.
