Pomegranate Cheesecake: A dessert that will blow your mind

With a very creamy texture and delicate flavor, this recipe is prepared like the traditional American dessert known as New York cheesecake.

The special thing about this recipe is that the cake is baked in a bain-marie, which gives it its characteristic consistency, and this version also has a delicious pomegranate sauce on top.

Directions

For the base of the cheesecake, mix the cookie and the butter. Prepare a base in the mold and bake at 180 °C for 10 minutes. Cool and set aside.

For the cheesecake, beat the cream cheese with the sugar, add the egg little by little until it is incorporated, add the cream and the vanilla, incorporate. Set aside.

To make the cheesecake, add the cheese mixture to the base you baked, until the mold is filled (25 cm of diameter) to three quarters. Bake at 180 °C for 30 minutes in a bain-marie, without covering. Rest and cool perfectly.

For the pomegranate sauce, heat the pomegranate juice, strawberry puree and sugar, mix and wait for it to boil, then add the grenetine and pomegranate. Remove and cool.

Add the pomegranate coulis over the cheesecake (as shown in the video), cool for a few seconds. Serve.

Tips

Decorate with mint leaves.

Chill the cheesecake perfectly before removing from the mold and cook it in the oven without covering it with a bain-marie.
