Including broccoli in your meals will be more than delicious with this simple recipe of finger foods with bread crumbs and parmesan cheese.
To prepare them you need to chop the broccoli very well and we advise you to refrigerate them until they are firm, so that it is easier to cook them and they do not lose their shape. Enjoy them with salad or prepare them a day before, and eat them with a starter.
- 2 cups of broccoli
- 1/4 onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cups of parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cups of panko
- 1/4 cups of bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons of oregano
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- Ketchup sauce, to accompany
In a pot of boiling water, cook the broccoli for 3 minutes, remove, place in ice water to enhance color and cut the cooking, then strain and chop finely.
In a bowl, mix the broccoli with the onion, parmesan cheese, panko, breadcrumbs, oregano, garlic powder, parsley, egg and season with salt and pepper.
On a board and with the help of your hands, form the fingers and refrigerate for 30 minutes or until firm.
In a frying pan, heat 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat and cook the fingers until they are golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
Serve and accompany with ketchup and fresh salad.
