Preparation

Chop the onion into fine brunoise and put it in a frying pan with four spoonfuls of olive oil. While it begins to cook, we chop the peppers in pieces and add them to the frying pan.

Add three spoonfuls of soy sauce and the chicken cut in strips, stirring everything while the chicken changes color. At that moment, we add the nuts and the homemade chicken broth, letting it cook at high heat for 8 minutes.

We lower the heat. While it is still cooking, we remove a few hazelnuts with a spoonful or two of broth and we crush them in the mortar, returning the mixture to the pan so that it thickens the sauce a little.

Taste and rectify the salt if necessary adding a little more soy sauce and serve very hot. The chicken should be very tender and the sauce should have an intense hazelnut flavor.
