When you need to prepare a dish that is delicious, and that does not require much time of preparation, we recommend you to follow this recipe, since in addition you need few ingredients, that in addition are usually in our pantries. So we invite you to try it, you will not regret it!
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1/4 cups onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon of garlic, finely chopped
- 2 cups of rice
- 3 tablespoons McCormick® Mustard
- 4 cups of chicken broth
- 1/2 cups of carrots, diced
- 1/2 cups of broccoli, in small florets
- 1/2 cups of peas
- 1/2 cups of corn kernels, yellow
- Chives, for decoration
In a deep frying pan add the oil and cook the onion, garlic and rice until it turns a golden color. Don't stop moving so that you get a uniform color in all the grains.
Add the mustard, mix and then add the chicken broth and the carrot. Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Add the peas and yellow corn and cook for 5 more minutes.
Serve hot, decorate with chives and enjoy.
