Preparing a pasta with creamy tomato sauce will be a perfect dinner or the ideal companion for your meals.
Spoil your family with this recipe of creamy pasta in tomato sauce, delicious and easy to prepare, besides that it is gratinated in refractory. For this recipe we use penne pasta, but you can use another form of short pasta, such as fusilli or farfalle.
- 2 cups of penne pasta, or feather
- Salt to taste
- 4 tomatoes, for the creamy sauce
- 1/4 onions, for the creamy sauce
- 1 clove of garlic, for the creamy sauce
- 1 cup chicken broth, for the creamy sauce
- 2 cups of sour cream
- Pepper to taste
- 1 cup grilled cheese, cubed
- Cilantro, finely chopped
Heat the water in a small pot over medium heat, add the salt and cook the pasta for 10 minutes or until it is al dente. Strain and reserve.
For the tomato sauce, blend the tomatoes, onion and garlic. Set aside.
In a small pot over low heat, melt the butter and pour the sauce, season with salt and pepper, and cook until it has a thick consistency, then add the cream, stir well and add the pasta, sprinkle with coriander, rectify the seasoning and set aside.
In a baking dish, place butter cubes and then serve the pasta, add the cubes of grilled cheese and cook au gratin for 15 minutes.
Served in a baking dish, grilled with cheese and decorated with coriander. You can serve it with a fresh salad.
To know if your pasta is perfectly cooked, cut your pasta in half, and you should see a small border of different color in the pasta, that means that it is al dente.
